Eager to grow her business as a realtor, Susan Hoag came to Smudgepot in search of a visual identity that would be representative of her personality and also set her apart professionally. By combining warm earth tones, clean and classic typeface, and a touch of southern charm, we created a visual identity that gives insight to Susan’s story and allows her to stand out in a crowded industry

Using Story Branded language to guide the website visitor towards a solution to their home buying or selling woes, the language was written in a manner that is friendly, straightforward, and to-the-point. Presented in a tone that reflects Susan’s voice, the site invites — but doesn’t push — people to work with her to ultimately fulfill their current home needs.

Because of the personal nature of her business, we designed a website that felt both personal and professional while reflecting the overall warm and southern-inspired branding.
